Welcome to my new blog!

Thank you for visiting my brand new blog! This blog will be all about JEWELRY! I myself am a jewelry designer who sells my one-of-a-kind pieces on Etsy (www.SaffireJewelry.Etsy.com), at local markets and craft fairs as well as being offered the opportunity to sell in stores. I've decided to create a blog about jewelry as for one it is my passion and for two I think it would be fun. This is my first ever blog so I am still getting the hang of it and I hope I do a good job! I will continue to add new topics on the world of jewelry which I hope you will enjoy reading.

As for me, I design unique handmade gemstone jewelry incorporating my work with Art Clay (Precious Metal Clay). I started out as a self taught jewelry artist, designing jewelry for personal clients, friends and family, and I quickly realized I wanted to make jewelry ALL the time, and so I thought what a better way to do it than opening my own shop - Saffire Jewelry. I have an obsession with gemstones, especially sapphires (hence my store name) and a new passion working with Precious Metal Clay (PMC). I will talk about Metal Clay at a later date.

Each piece I make is unique (or with limited editions). I incorporate all types of metals and all types of beautiful semi-precious and precious gemstones. My motto is "Uniquely You" as I offer pre-made jewelry or jewelry designed specifically for you.
